I am directed by the Treasury Solicitor to
refer to your letter of the 18th November No.13758/33
on the subject of the Reference to the Judicial
Committee of Privy Council under Section 4 of the
Judicial Committee Act 1833, of a question arising out
of the Hong Kong piracy case Rex v. Chung Tam Kwong and others, transmitting the Order of His Majesty in
Council dated the 10th November 1933, and in accordance
with your request the necessary steps are being taken
to bring the matter before the Judicial Committee.
